Christine Dorchak and Carey Theil are the founders of non-profit greyhound protection group, GREY2K USA Worldwide. They have been working to pass laws to protect greyhounds and promote the adoption of ex-racers for more than two decades. Christine is a classic "Jersey Girl" and marathon runner who decided to become a lawyer for the express purpose of prohibiting dog racing. Carey is a Master chess player who uses his strategic skills to lobby for greyhounds far and wide. Brooklyn Goes Home describes their sometimes dangerous political campaign to close down racetracks and rescue greyhounds, as told through the life of a spotted dog named Brooklyn.
